1962 GM 4106 BUS. SOLD

Located in The Villages, Florida. This is a 1962 GM 4106 BUS, just like the one that Elvis traveled in as he toured in the early Sixties. It has a 2 cycle Detroit 8V71 with a blower with a 4 speed standard transmission all old school. The steering has been upgraded to a power steering with the upgrade steering wheel. The old wire throttle control has been changed to the new Williams air throttle with fast response and very reliable.  There is one Flat screen TV that picks up on air HD TV, it works very well. The bus holds 80 gals. of fresh and unknown amount of grey and black. It has a 4KW Onan gas generator with a 5gal. Tank. The ride and drive are smooth and the air brakes are solid. The air springs are manual control with 4 gauges at the passenger seat front, you can select the height of the coach for driving , soft or firm , high or low. It is the standard monocoque all aluminum body. The Shower and water closet are roomy, It has twin beds. The kitchen is a 4 burner gas stove with an oven,  and it has a 40 gal propane tank that was recently certified. Wood floors and a very good Flex steel sofa/bed. more closets than you might think and very good wood and laminate cabinets. 2 roof AIR-CON. It has an Instant water heater that is perfect, and a 40,000 BTU furnace for cold nights. The engine has been serviced and it has newly re-built 270 Amp alternator . The Kipor Generator Does Not go with the bus. The bus has a built in Vacuum system.
